Soil-Supported Mat Design

Mat3D uses finite element analysis to model the mat-soil interaction under complex multi-point loading. Spring supports represent the soil, and the program iterates to achieve a consistent solution for bearing pressure, settlements, and structural design forces.

Pile-Supported Cap Design
